Trade Restrictions Lifted for Wizards’ Bradley Beal, Bulls’ Zach LaVine, Others

Trade restrictions involving multiple NBA players were lifted on Sunday, with the deadline to make a deal just several weeks away.Bradley Beal

As relayed by Bobby Marks of ESPN, more notable names on the list include Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal, Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine and Suns center Deandre Ayton.

Granted, not all of the names on the list are considered actual trade candidates — as the Wizards are said to be making it clear that Beal is not available. But there has been some buzz about others, such as Ayton, LaVine, and Heat center Dewayne Dedmon.

The players who are just now becoming eligible did so after contract extensions this offseason. Per Marks, along with the aforementioned, the complete list of those now trade-eligible is as follows:

Nets center Nic Claxton; Hornets guard/forward Cody Martin; Nuggets forward Vlatko Cancar; Warriors center Kevon Looney; Rockets forward Jae’Sean Tate; Grizzlies point guard Tyus Jones; Clippers wings Nicolas Batum and Amir Coffey; Heat guard Victor Oladipo; Bucks forward/center Bobby Portis and forward Jordan Nwora; Knicks center Mitchell Robinson; Thunder guard/forward Luguentz Dort; Magic center Mo Bomba; Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic and guard Anfernee Simons; and Raptors forward/center Chris Boucher.

Along with the above list, Thunder shooting guard Isaiah Joe becomes trade eligible on Jan. 15, Bucks shooting guard Pat Connaughton does so on Jan. 18, and Thunder forward Kenrich Williams on Jan. 20, Marks noted.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 9.
