The Magic are converting the two-way contract of forward Admiral Schofield to a standard contract, agents Mark Bartelstein and George Roussakis told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Schofield, 25, is 6-foot-5 and signed his latest deal with the Magic on July 22. This after signing a two-way deal with the team in January 2022.
In 27 appearances this season, he is averaging 4.6 points and shooting 48 percent from the field.
Schofield was originally selected by the 76ers with the No. 42 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Her was immediately traded to the Wizards, and after a year there, traded to the Thunder.
He was waived by the Thunder in December 2020, before signing a pair of 10-day deals with the Magic a year later. He carries career averages of averages 4.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game.
