Free aget guard George Hill is set to sign a two-year, $8.5 million contract with the Bucks after having cleared waivers, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The 76ers announced Monday that they had waived Hill, meaning he only needed to wait to clear waivers before signing on with the reigning champions.
Hill played for the Bucks in 2019-20, averaging 9.4 points and 3.1 assists, but was traded away as part of the multi-team deal that brought in guard Jrue Holiday.
Hill, 30, spent last season with both the Thunder and 76ers, compiling averages of 8.7 points and 2.4 assists in 30 games. He has also spent time with the Cavaliers, Kings, Jazz, Pacers and Spurs.
He will now rejoin a backcourt that includes Holiday, Donte DiVincenzo and Pat Connaughton as its main players.
Along with that, Hill will help replace the loss of Bryn Forbes, who agreed to a deal with the Spurs.
