Spurs Agree To Deal To Bring Back Bryn Forbes

The Spurs have reached a contract agreement with shooting guard Bryn Forbes, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.<a rel=

Forbes, 27, is 6-foot-2 and spent the first four years of his career in San Antonio before joining the NBA champion Bucks prior to the season on a one-year deal. He averaged 10.0 points and shot 45 percent on 3-pointers in 70 games.

The Spurs are undergoing a facelift of sorts, having agreed to trade shooting guard DeMar DeRozan to the Bulls for Tomas Satoransky and Garrett Temple, and losing forward Rudy Gay (Jazz) and guard Patty Mills (Nets) in free agency.

Along with Forbes, they agreed to a deal with former Pacers small forward Doug McDermott.

Forbes averaged 6.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 20 playoff games. Terms of his deal with the Spurs have not been reported.
