The Hornets have signed small forward Xavier Sneed to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.
Sneed, 25, is 6-foot-5 and has appeared in nine games since the 2020-21 season, including seven last year with the Jazz. The Hornets signed him to a training camp deal in October, then waived him shortly after.
Sneed since has been with the Greensboro Swarm of the G League, averaging 12.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He has been playing primarily in the G League since going undrafted out of Kansas State in 2020.
The Hornets still have an open roster spot, as well as an available two-way spot, with the season coming to a close.
The Hornets say they have signed Xavier Sneed to a 10-day contract.
