Former NBA forward Kenneth Faried has landed a new deal, signing with Puerto Rican club Cangrejeros de Santurce, per the RealGM transactions log.
Faried, 33, is 6-foot-8 and last played in the NBA in 2018-19, when he appeared in 37 games combined with the Nets and Rockets.
He spent the first seven years of his career with the Nuggets and carries NBA averages of 11.4 points and 8.1 rebounds in 478 total games.
He has also spent time in China and Russia, with a previous stop in Puerto Rico, as well as in the G League. In 2022, Faried played for the Austin Spurs, San Antonio’s minor league affiliate.
- Former NBA shooting guard Manny Harris has signed with Turkish club Merkezefendi, per RealGM. Harris, 33, played for the Cavaliers from 2010-12, followed by stops with the Lakrs and Mavericks. He last appeared in an NBA game in 2017.
- Longtime NBA guard/forward Lance Stephenson has reached agreement on a contract with Leones de Ponce of Puerto Rico. Stephenson, 32, made a name for himself with the Pacers from 2010-14, then again from 2016-18. He has also spent time with the Hornets, Lakers, Clippers, Grizzlies and Hawks.
