The Hawks are hosting a multi-player workout that will include Kent State guard Sincere Carry and Akron point guard Xavier Castaneda, as relayed by Lauren L. Williams of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Every team is holding individual and group workouts ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft, as this believed to be the seventh such gathering for the Hawks, who own the Nos. 15 and 46 overall selections.
Along with Carry and Castaneda, the latest workout is expected to consist of Virginia guard Armaan Franklin, Illinois State shooting guard Seneca Knight, Dayton forward Toumani Camara, and Hungarian forward Vincent Valerio-Bodon.
Most of those in this particular Hawks workout are said to be headed to the G League or a contract overseas, but the purpose is to try to find a diamond in the rough.
