The Celtics have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract to re-sign center Luke Kornet, according to Chris Greham of Forbes.
Kornet, 26, is 7-foot-2 and appeared in 18 games with the Celtics last season, averaging 4.4 points and 2.9 rebounds.
“He’ll participate in training camp with Boston later this month, joining Juwan Morgan as the latest frontcourt additions,” Grenham wrote.
Kornet is obviously a long shot to make the final roster, but there’s a chance he could make a run at the 15th spot. As Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors noted, forward Jabari Parker only has a partial guarantee and will have to prove himself in training camp.
Kornet went undrafted out of Vanderbilt in 2017, and has also spent time with the Bulls and Knicks, as well as in the G League.
