The Jazz have waived shooting guard Taevion Kinsey and center Nick Ongenda, per the NBA transactions log.
Kinsey, 23, is 6-foot-5 and went undrafted out of Marshall this past summer, then joined the Jazz for Summer League. He signed a training camp deal with Utah in late August.
Ongenda, 23, is 6-11 and went undrafted out of DePaul and also joined the Jazz for Summer League. He signed his camp deal with Utah on the same day as Kinsey.
Both rookies are likely headed to the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League. They will be eligible for a $75,000 bonus should they remain with SLC for at least 60 days, assuming their contracts consist of Exhibit 10 language, as believed.
