CLEVELAND — The Cavaliers will have nearly all of their key pieces against LeBron James and the Lakers.
Per Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, both guard Donovan Mitchell and guard/forward Isaac Okoro are returning Saturday’s game against their old friend who is now a foe.
Mitchell missed the last four games with a hamstring issue suffered in a win at Portland. The Cavs went 3-1 in that stretch, losing their previous game, against the Heat.
Meanwhile, Okoro missed eight straight with a knee issue. He was off to a career start before that, playing well on both sides of the ball.
Mitchell will start alongside Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, and Max Strus — and that unit is making just its sixth appearance together, Fedor noted.
Mitchell and Okoro were assigned to the Cleveland Charge of the G League earlier for rehab purposes and then practiced with the Cavs on Friday.
