Shams: Raptors’ Pascal Siakam trade talks involved Kings’ Harrison Barnes

The Raptors have been active in trade discussions centered on big man Pascal Siakam, and it seems particularly involved in talks with the Kings.

Well, those conversations also involved Sacramento forward Harrison Barnes, as Shams Charania of The Athletic relayed during his regular spot on FanDuel TV‘s Run It Back.

 “I’m told the Raptors and Kings were in active conversations about a Pascal Siakam trade … revolving around Harrison Barnes,” Charania said.

But those talks have been tabled for now.

“At this point, the only way it ignites is if Toronto comes back to Sacramento,” Charania added.

Others are certain to approach the Raptors about Siakam as well. As we relayed here, many around the league expect him to be traded within the next month.

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, Feb. 8.
