The Bulls’ next two games have been postponed by the NBA because of a lack of available players, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN and Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press.
The league has confirmed the postponements in a press release.
Despite a vaccination rate of 100 percent, the Bulls have 10 players in the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Players and coaches are placed in protocols after receiving a positive test for COVID-19.
They either need to wait 10 days to return or receive two negative tests in a 24-hour span.
“Ten Bulls players, along with additional staff members, are currently in the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols,” the league’s statement read.
Leading scorer DeMar DeRozan and standout guard Zach LaVine are among the players in the protocols.
Per Wojnarowski, the NBA is postponing Chicago’s games to “avoid further possible spread.” These mark the first postponements of the 2021-22 season.
The Bulls were scheduled to play the Pistons on Tuesday and the Raptors on Thursday.

Is there ANY concern about letting the HEAT players PLAY CAVS Players???
& possibly losing a few CAVS to protocols for a few LOSSES ? Questionable !
It seems to me, maybe a night off for the Heat to find if there has ALREADY been
contamination on Saturday night, if they’re really concerned about spread enough to put that many Bulls out to pasture for a couple games…..
