The Cavaliers season is back, and guess what? So is the Cavs on the Break podcast, hosted by Chase Smith and co-starring Yours Truly.
We examine what may be ahead in the season-opening pod, breaking down everything from the coaching change to Kenny Atkinson to the needed rise of Evan Mobley and Darius Garland to Donovan Mitchell being signed and sealed, and much more. Listen on Apple Pods or in either player directly below.

So, where do I think the Cavs will finish in the Eastern Conference? Well, you’ll have to listen to my full take on the podcast. But I’ll give you a clue — and it’s that I think things could go really well if they stay healthy when it means the most. They will also need Garland to return to form and a banner year (offensively) from Mobley.
I honestly don’t worry too much about Mitchell or Jarrett Allen. They are as consistent as they come. The Cavs also finished last season in the top 10 defensively. If they can stay there, and get the offense up to the top 10 or 15 in the league, they will be in great shape.
