The NBA has informed its two Los Angeles-based teams, the Clippers and Lakers, that Monday’s scheduled home games will proceed as planned, according to RealGM.
The Clippers are set to host the Heat at Intuit Dome, while the Lakers will face the Spurs at Crypto.com Arena.
The Lakers’ last two games were postponed due to the ongoing wildfires across Southern California, and the Clippers’ Saturday game against the Hornets was also delayed.
Hazardous wind conditions are expected to persist in Los Angeles through Wednesday, potentially exacerbating wildfire risks. However, the league is hopeful that conditions will improve enough to allow the games to go ahead without issue.
Elsewhere, an NBA game between Houston and Atlanta, originally scheduled for Saturday, was postponed due to unusual snowfall in the Atlanta area, creating dangerous driving conditions.
