The Oklahoma City Blue has acquired guard/forward Andre Roberson from the G League’s available player pool, the team announced.
But Roberson suffered a season-ending knee injury early in 2020-21, appearing in just seven games. He then became a free agent, signing with the Nets in February 2021, before getting waived a week later. He has been out of the NBA ever since.
In all, Roberson started in 269 games for the Thunder, including every one of the 79 games in which he appeared in 2016-17. He carries career averages of just 4.5 points and 4.0 rebounds, but proved to be the ultimate utility player for winning teams.
