Bucks Have Clippers’ Tyronn Lue, Suns’ Monty Williams on Radar

The Bucks have an interest in Clippers coach Tyronn Lue and Suns coach Monty Williams to fill their own vacancy, per Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.Tyronn Lue

While both Lue and Williams are currently under contract, each s facing a certain offseason after sooner-than-expected playoff departures.

Milwaukee is currently conducting a wide-ranging search to replace Mike Budenholzer, fired after the season and a first-round playoff exit. The Bucks (58-24) had the league’s best record entering the playoffs, so without question, the job is enticing to potential candidates.

Other reported candidates include Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson, Trail Blazers assistant Scott Brooks, Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin, Bucks assistant Charles Lee and former Hornets coach James Borrego, among others.

As we relayed here, the Suns could be undergoing several changes to the front office and coaching staff, which may or may not include Williams.

Meanwhile, things aren’t exactly great with the Clippers these days, either. We have that full story here.
