Bucks’ Khris Middleton May Not Miss Entire Series vs. Celtics

Bucks forward Khris Middleton could potentially return for the series vs. the Celtics, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski said on SportsCenter.Khris Middleton

Middleton was initially expected to miss the entire series with a sprained MCL, suffered on April 29 in the first round vs. the Bulls.

Wojnarowski said the Bucks will “know more midweek” when Middleton’s injury will be re-evaluated.

Middleton has a Grade 2 sprain, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. Initially, the All-Star was expected to miss just a week or two. This marks the start of the second week in which Middleton will have missed.

Middleton averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 66 regular-season games, and has been the ideal complement to leading scorer Giannis Antetokounmpo.
