Ibaka, 32, agreed to a one-year contract back at the start of free agency, as relayed by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

He was acquired by Milwaukee from the Clippers at the trade deadline in February and appeared in 19 regular-season games before becoming a part of the Bucks’ playoff rotation.

During the regular season with the Bucks, Ibaka averaged 7.0 points and 5.3 rebounds, proving to be a capable backup in the frontcourt. He also brings winning experience as a member of the Raptors’ 2019 title team.

“While terms of Ibaka’s new deal aren’t yet known, it appears the Bucks are confident in his ability to be a useful depth piece in the frontcourt now that he’s another year removed from that procedure on his back,” wrote Hoops Rumors’ Luke Adams.

Along with Ibaka, the Bucks recently agreed to deals with Bobby Portis, Joe Ingles, Wesley Matthews and Jevon Carter. First-round pick MarJon Beauchamp will soon officially sign as well.
