Bulls hire Bryson Graham as EVP of Basketball Operations

The Bulls have their new top basketball executive.

Chicago is hiring Hawks senior vice president Bryson Graham as Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Graham, 39, has built a strong reputation around the league for his scouting eye and role in roster building. He spent 15 years with the Pelicans before joining Atlanta last offseason, rising from intern to general manager along the way.

The Bulls conducted in-person interviews last week and narrowed the search to three finalists, per Charania. Graham ultimately beat out Pistons senior vice president Dennis Lindsey and Timberwolves general manager Matt Lloyd for the position.

Chicago had been searching for a new lead decision-maker to guide its front office moving forward. Graham now steps into that role with a track record tied to draft success and player acquisitions in both New Orleans and Atlanta.
