Oklahoma State guard and projected No. 1 overall draft pick Cade Cunningham has agreed to an endorsement deal with Nike, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Cunningham’s deal is believed to be the largest of any player in the 2021 NBA Draft class, Wojnarowski added.
Cunningham is 6-foot-8 and widely expected to be selected first by the Pistons, the only team with which he will meet prior to the draft.
While the Pistons are certainly high on Cunningham, Wojnarowski reported the front office was not yet “fully there yet on committing” to making him the pick as of Monday afternoon.
Cunningham averaged 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his lone season at Oklahoma State.
