Cavs Talk: Offseason Breakdown, Roster, Sleepers, Rumors

Yes, Hoops Wire Live on 330 to Go has tipped off its second season, which means it’s almost time for the Cavaliers to start.

This time, I’m joined by Aaron Conrad, the host of the podcast from Cavaliers legend Mark Price (Mark Price for 3). We discuss everything from the Cavs’ offseason to roster to expectations to team needs to my high-school dating life. You can check it out here on YouTube or directly below.

Of course, we have much more on the Cavs on the Hoops Wire home page, as well as our Cavs page.

It’s hard to believe that training camp is only about three weeks away. This year’s will take place in Florida at IMG Academy. Media Day is scheduled for Sept. 30 (in Cleveland). And president of basketball operations Koby Altman and new coach Kenny Atkinson are scheduled to meet with reporters before that, on Sept. 27 at the team’s practice facility.

Along with the Hoops Wire Live show, we have lots of coverage on Darius Garland on the site today, and I even wrote a column on Isaac Okoro. There seems to be very little movement on the latter — though that can change in a millisecond.

For the record, I suspect Garland will be a member of the team all season and Okoro will return by picking up his qualifying offer. I’m considerably less certain about Okoro’s future with the franchise, though. Much of it may have to do with the development of young wings such as rookie Jaylon Tyson or second-year man Emoni Bates.

Anyway, we discuss that and a whole lot more on the latest Hoops Wire Live, so check it out and let me know your thoughts.
