Cavs’ Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, De’Andre Hunter to Return for Game 3

Finally, the Cavaliers will be at full strength — as all three of their injured players will return for Game 3 vs. the Pacers, per multiple reports.

That would be none other than point guard Darius Garland, power forward Evan Mobley and reserve forward De’Andre Hunter. All three remain listed as “questionable” but took part in Friday’s morning shootaround in Indianapolis.

Garland has missed four straight games with a sprained toe, while Mobley and Hunter missed Game 2 of the Cavs’ last-second heartbreaker of a loss. Mobley has a sprained ankle and Hunter has a dislocated thumb.

While all three players are said to still be in pain, they have decided to give it a go.

The Cavs trail the series, 2-0, with Games 3 and 4 to be held in Indiana on Friday (7:30 pm., ESPN). Game 4 is slated for Sunday evening.

In the NBA, falling behind by a 3-0 count is considered a basketball death sentence — as no one has ever come back from such a deficit to win a series (0-161).
