CLEVELAND — Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen left Tuesday’s 113-109 home win over the Detroit Pistons with a right knee injury.

Allen appeared to bump knees on a rebound attempt with 8:40 left in the third quarter.

”He got a knee-to-knee,” coach Kenny Atkinson said. “That’s the only update I got. We’ll see tomorrow.”

Allen has appeared in 50 games (entering Tuesday) and carries averages of 15.4 points and 8.6 rebounds.

He was a nominated for Eastern Conference Player of the Month for February after what he himself called the best stretch of his career. He had recorded eight points and four rebounds at the time the injury occurred.

The Cavs are already without All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell (groin) and Max Strus (foot). They have four days off before their next game, Sunday vs. the Boston Celtics.
