Longtime Nuggets broadcaster Chris Marlowe confirmed Wednesday that he will no longer call games for Altitude Sports after more than two decades on the job.
Marlowe announced the news on social media, thanking viewers, colleagues and the organization for what he described as an unforgettable run.
The announcement comes after Bennett Durando and Troy Renck of The Denver Post reported that Altitude Sports is making significant changes to its Nuggets broadcast team. According to the Post, longtime analyst Scott Hastings and studio analyst Chris Dempsey are also no longer part of the television broadcast.

Marlowe had served as the television voice of the Nuggets since Altitude launched in 2004. In addition to his NBA work, the former Olympic gold medalist has enjoyed a distinguished broadcasting career that includes calling beach volleyball for NBC at multiple Olympic Games.
According to the Denver Post report, Hastings is expected to remain with Altitude Radio despite his departure from Nuggets television broadcasts. A former NBA forward, Hastings has been a fixture on Denver sports broadcasts for more than three decades.
The Post also reported that Katy Winge and Vic Lombardi are expected to remain part of Altitude’s Nuggets coverage moving forward.
No official explanation for the changes has been announced.
