The Clippers have signed shooting guard Brodric Thomas to an Exhibit 10 contract for training camp, per Law Murray of The Athletic.
Thomas, 26, is 6-foot-5 and last spent time in the NBA with the Cavaliers, Celtics and Rockets in 2021-22. He appeared in 44 games overall that season, averaging 4.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 28 games with Cleveland.
He also has appeared in 36 G League games overall, averaging 16.1 points on 44 percent shooting and 38 percent on 3-pointers.
Thomas spent this past offseason with the Clippers in Summer League and very well could be headed to the Ontario Clippers of the G League. If he were to remain there for 60 days, he would be eligible for a $75,000 bonus.
That said, the Clippers have only filled two of their three two-way spots, so that may be perhaps another avenue to the standard roster for Thomas. LA currently has 20 players on its camp roster.
