Clippers Sign Brodric Thomas to Training Camp Deal

The Clippers have signed shooting guard Brodric Thomas to an Exhibit 10 contract for training camp, per Law Murray of The Athletic. Brodric Thomas

Thomas, 26, is 6-foot-5 and last spent time in the NBA with the Cavaliers, Celtics and Rockets in 2021-22. He appeared in 44 games overall that season, averaging 4.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 28 games with Cleveland.

He also has appeared in 36 G League games overall, averaging 16.1 points on 44 percent shooting and 38 percent on 3-pointers.

Thomas spent this past offseason with the Clippers in Summer League and very well could be headed to the Ontario Clippers of the G League. If he were to remain there for 60 days, he would be eligible for a $75,000 bonus.

That said, the Clippers have only filled two of their three two-way spots, so that may be perhaps another avenue to the standard roster for Thomas. LA currently has 20 players on its camp roster.
