The Clippers have signed forward Bryson Williams, the team announced in a press release.
Williams is 6-foot-8 and went undrafted out of Texas Tech this past summer. He averaged 14.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in his final college season.
He then signed on with the Heat’s summer league team, making five appearances.
It’s a safe bet that Williams will be waived before Monday’s roster deadline and headed for the Ontario Clippers, LA’s affiliate in the G League. If that’s the case, he’ll be eligible for a $50,000 bonus should he remain with Ontario for at least 60 days.
