Isaiah Mobley has a new team overseas, and his new team could use some help.
The former Cavaliers forward has signed with Basquet Manresa, the Spanish club announced Tuesday. Manresa is off to an 0-6 start, making it the only team in the 18-team Liga ACB still searching for a victory.
Mobley, is 6-foot-9 and the older brother of Cavs big man Evan Mobley. He arrives with experience in both the NBA and international basketball. The Cavs selected him with the No. 49 overall pick in the 2022 draft, giving the brothers an opportunity to begin their professional careers together.
Overall, he appeared in 23 regular-season games combined for the Cavs and 76ers from 2022-25. He hasn’t played in the NBA since his Philadelphia contract expired following the 2024-25 season.
Last season took Mobley to Manisa Basket in Turkey and Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel. Now comes another stop, with an opportunity to help a struggling club find its footing. For Manresa, even one win would be a start.
