Former Mavericks point guard Pierre Jackson has signed with Chinese team Xinjiang Flying Tigers, as relayed by Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype.
Jackson, 31, is 5-foot-10 and appeared in eight games with Dallas during the 2016-17 season, averaging 4.4 points and 2.4 assists. He was waived in January of that season.
He has spent plenty of time overseas and in the G League, most recently playing for Afyon Belediye of Turkey. Other stops include China, France, Croatia and Israel.
As we relayed last week, Xinjiang also recently signed former NBA center Tacko Fall. They are coached by Diejang Ah.
