Everyone loves a winner and you can especially say that about fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
They proved as much by making the Game 2 win over the Orlando Magic the most-watched Cavs game on Bally Sports Ohio since 2018. That’s when the LeBron James-led Cavs beat the Indiana Pacers, 104-100, to tie their first-round series at 2-all on April 22 of that year.
Today, the big names are the likes of Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, and people are again really tuning in.
Per Bally Sports Ohio, the Cavs’ victory over the Magic on Monday had more than three times the viewership of last season’s Game 1 vs. the New York Knicks. It also had twice the average viewership of last year’s Game 1.
And get this — the average viewership for game two was 134 percent higher than the Cavs’ regular-season games.
