Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Ankle ‘All Good,’ Says Greece Coach

Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered an ankle injury during FIBA EuroBasket play with Greece, but it’s nothing serious, coach Dimitrios Itoudis told reporters.Giannis Antetokounmpo

“It’s all good,” Itoudis said.

Antetokounmpo was sidelined during Greece’s 90-69 win over Estonia, and was spotted walking with a limp following the game as he greeted fans.

He went 9-for-10 shooting in that game, and has averaged 29.5 points on 58% shooting in in four games in the group stage.

Greece faces the Czech Republic in the Round of 16 on Sunday.

Antetokounmpo averaged 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 67 games last season, as the Bucks were eliminated by the Celtics in the second round of the playoffs.
