The Raptors traded OG Anunoby to the Knicks after an early season full of rumors that they might be looking to deal. Is Pascal Siakam next?
After all, trade rumors surrounding Siakam have been plentiful this season, too.
If the Raptors do indeed decide to go that route, they will undoubtedly have plenty of suitors. The Hawks, Pacers and Kings are already linked to Siakam, but it may not end there.
Per Marc Stein of The Stein Line, the Grizzlies and woeful Pistons “have likewise been mentioned as teams that potentially could emerge as Siakam suitors.”
The Raptors and whoever decides to pursue Siakam now have just slightly more than a month to think about it. The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 8.
Siakam is eligible for unrestricted free agency at the end of the season, though. So any team that might land him better be sure he’s willing to stay.
