The Grizzlies have signed power forward Romeo Weems and waived guard Shaq Buchanan, the team announced in a release.
Weems, 20, is 6-foot-7 and went undrafted out of DePaul. He made seven total appearances for Memphis between the Salt Lake City and Las Vegas summer leagues.
Buchanan, 24, is 6-3 and signed with Memphis late last month. He recorded seven points in his lone preseason appearance Thursday vs. the Hornets. He has spent two seasons with the G League’s Memphis Hustle and is likely headed back there this year.
