The Hawks have signed guard/forward Chaundee Brown to a 10-day contract via the hardship exception, the team announced in a press release.
Brown, 23, is 6-foot-5 and appeared in two games with the Lakers as a two-way player earlier in the season. He went to training camp with the Lakers and initially signed an Exhibit 10 deal after going undrafted out of Michigan.
Brown has also spent time with the South Bay Lakers of the G League.
The Hawks have been especially hard hit by players entering health and safety protocols, and Brown is their sixth player signed to a 10-day deal already this season.
