Hawks Sign Donovan Williams to Two-Way Deal

The Hawks have signed guard/forward Donovan Williams to a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.Donovan Williams

Williams is 6-foot-6 and went undrafted out of UNLV last summer. He has spent his rookie season with the Long Island Nets, averaging 15.5 points and 3.7 rebounds, shooting 48 percent from the field and 41 percent on 3-pointers.

He signed with the Nets in October after appearing in five summer league games with the team, but was waived four days later.

Williams will take the spot vacated by former lottery pick Jarrett Culver, released from his two-way deal last week. Williams will wear No. 4 with the Hawks.
