The Hawks have signed power forward Justin Tillman to a 10-day contract via the hardship exception, the team announced in a press release.
Tillman, 25, is 6-foot-8 and has been playing for the College Park Skyhawks, Atlanta’s G League affiliate. For the Skyhawks, he is averaging 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 14 appearances.
Tillman went undrafted out of VCU in 2018, then spent time in Israel, Italy and Turkey before signing on with College Park.
The Hawks made a run to the Eastern Conference finals last season, but have been ravaged with players entering health and safety protocols this year. They currently have 10 players sidelined.
