The Heat have landed their man in Kyle Lowry, acquiring the veteran point guard in a sign-and-trade deal with the Raptors, per Marc Stein iof Substack.Kyle Lowry

In addition, the Heat have re-signed small forward Duncan Robinson, Stein reported.

Lowry, 35, will receive a three-year deal worth about $90 million, added Adrian Wojanrowski of ESPN. The entire deal is guaranteed, reported Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

Meanwhile, Duncan landed a five-year contract, also worth $90 million, Wojnarowski reported. That deal is the largest ever for an undrafted player.

“While a three-year, $90MM investment is a risk for a player who is entering his age-35 season, Lowry has championship experience and is an ideal fit for virtually any team due to his ability to handle the ball, knock down outside shots, and provide strong defense,” wrote Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.

Lowry averaged 17.2 points, 7.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds in 46 games with the Raptors last season. The expectation is that poit guard Goran Dragic and forward and Precious Achiuwa, will be part of the trade for Lowry with Dragic likley headed elsewhere.
