So how did Bam Adebayo follow up that wild 83-point explosion?

Pretty well, actually.

The Miami Heat big man finished with 21 points Thursday night as Miami defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 112-105, for its seventh straight victory.

Adebayo did most of his damage late, scoring 12 of his points in the fourth quarter to help the Heat close things out.

He recorded just six points in the first half, and was 0-1 from the line in the first 24 minutes.

The bigger surprise may have been teammate Pelle Larsson, who delivered the best night of his young career with 28 points. Larsson also came up with one of the game’s biggest plays.

After a missed three by Giannis Antetokounmpo that could have tied the game with under a minute left, Larsson grabbed the rebound and drilled a three of his own seconds later to push Miami ahead by six.

That essentially sealed it.

Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 31 points for Milwaukee. Bobby Portis Jr. added 19, while Ryan Rollins finished with 16 points and 10 assists.

With the win, Miami remains sixth in the Eastern Conference, just behind the Orlando Magic, who have also been surging lately.

As for Adebayo, the 83-point evening will be tough to top. But 21 in a win will do just fine, it seems.
