The Heat have traded guard Victor Oladipo to the Thunder for second-round picks in 2029 and ’30, the team announced in a press release.
Along with the picks, Miami is landing a $9.45 million trade exception by flipping Oladipo’s salary. That’s in addition to the $4.7 million trade exception the Thunder acquired in February.
Oladipo, 31, suffered a torn patellar tendon in his left knee during the Heat’s first-round playoff matchup — adding to an already injury-plagued career in Miami. He averaged 10.7 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 46 appearances last season.
This marks his second stint with the Thunder. He has also spent time with the Rockets and Pacers. But there are questions as to how much he is physically able to make an impact.
We appreciate you, Dipo! pic.twitter.com/4SO3sTFOYb
