Lowry also missed Game 5, in which the Heat coasted to a 120-85 victory to take a 3-2 series lead. Game 6 is Thursday in Philadelphia.

He has been battling the injury since the first-round series against the Hawks, re-aggravating it to the point where he can’t take the court.

“Put it this way, you don’t want to play with it,” Lowry told reporters after Game 4. “But we’re in a situation in the playoffs where we’re in a hostile environment, we’re in this together no matter what. Just trying to be out there for my guys, no matter what happens, no matter what the situation is.”

Lowry went to the locker room in Game 4 during the second quarter, though he didn’t exactly say when the injury became aggravated. He exited the game for good with 9:42 remaining in the fourth.

Each team has won every home game in the series to this point.
