We all knew the Jazz weren’t finished after trading Donovan Mitchell to the Cavaliers, and Rudy Gobert to the Timberwolves before that.
They have some more moves to make, as CEO Danny Ainge and GM Justin Zanik look to continue to reshape the roster with youth, while acquiring even more draft picks.
And per Tony Jones of The Athletic, the Jazz have now moved on to trade talks centered on Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley.
Those three, of course, are three of the older players remaining from last year’s playoff squad, and it would be fairly stunning if even one returned. Much like anything, though, it’s more about what the Jazz can get in return.
As we relayed earlier, the Suns are one team that has already placed a call on Bogdanovic. The Lakers are also believed to be interested.
So far, Ainge and Zanik have already acquired 15 first-round picks over the next seven years. Oh, not to mention Collin Sexton, Talen Horton-Tucker, Lauri Markkanen, Malik Beasley and rookie lottery pick Ochai Agbaji.
In other words, the rebuild is on in full swing. But as expected, it’s not expected to end here.
