The Jazz intend to sign guard Kris Dunn to a 10-day contract, per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report/TNT.
In addition, the Jazz will sign point guard Frank Jackson to a 10-day contract, agents Troy Payne and Mike Silverman told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Dunn, 28, is 6-foot-3 and was selected by the Timberwolves with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He appeared in 14 games with the Trail Blazers last season, averaging 7.6 points and 5.6 assists.
He has also spent time with the Bulls, and appeared in four games with the Hawks in 2020-21. Along with that, Dunn has played for the G League’s Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards’ G League affiliate.
Jackson, 24, is also 6-3 and has been playing with the Salt Lake City Stars, also of the G League. He was originally drafted by the Pelicans with the No. 31 overall pick in 2017, missing his first season with a foot injury.
He appeared in 53 games with the Pistons last season, averaging a career-high 10.6 points on 40 percent shooting.
A native of Washington D.C., Jackson played high school basketball at Lone Peak in Highland, Utah.
