Kings forward/center Domantas Sabonis has been suspended one game without pay for “aggressively confronting” and making contact with an official, NBA director of league operations Byron Spruell said.
Sabonis’ flareup occurred late in the fourth quarter of the Kings’ home loss to the Knicks on Monday, when he received a technical. He then approached and angrily bumped the official, resulting in a second technical and an ejection.
Sabonis will serve his suspension Wednesday vs. the Nuggets in Sacramento. To view the incident, click this link to NBA.com.
