The Heat opted not to re-sign veteran guard/forward Andre Iguodala but he is still garnering plenty of interest.
Per Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, both the Lakers and Warriors could be among those vying for Iguodala in free agency.
“Iguodala appears to be one of the veterans that Golden State CEO Joe Lacob hinted at possibly joining the Warriors,” Fischer wrote. “…The Lakers, and Iguodala’s former agent Rob Pelinka, are said to be interested in the veteran wing as well.”
Iguodala, 37, averaged 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in 63 appearances with the Heat last season. He remains among the most-respected perimeter defenders, and of course, played a key role in the Warriors’ recent run of five straight appearaces in the Finals.
