The Mavericks have converted the contract of point guard McKinley Wright IV to a two-way deal, as relayed by RealGM.
In addition, the Mavericks intend to sign free agent guard Facundo Campazzo to a one-year contract, filling their open roster spot, per Aris Barkas of EuroHoops.
Wright, 23, is 6-foot-0 and spent last season on a two-way contract with the Timberwolves, appearing in five games. He went undrafted out of Colorado in 2021.
Campazzo, 31, is 5-foot-10 and hails from Argentina. He has spent the past two seasons with the Nuggets, appearing in 65 games in each. Last season, he averaged 5.2 points and 3.4 assists, shooting just 36 percent from the field.
Campazzo was once teammates with Mavs star guard Luka Doncic when the two played for Spanish club Real Madrid.
