Bucks
The Bucks used a portion of their room exception to sign forward Pete Nance to a three-year deal worth $5.81 million, according to Hoops Rumors.
The contract exceeds a standard minimum in both first-year salary and length. Nance will earn $600,000 for the remainder of this season, well above the prorated minimum.
The rest of the deal offers flexibility.
His 2026/27 salary ($2.49 million) is non-guaranteed and would become guaranteed if he remains on the roster through July 4, 2026. The final year (2027/28) is a non-guaranteed team option.
Pistons
Pistons guard Cade Cunningham continues to receive support in the wake of the 65-game rule debate.
Agent Jeff Schwartz told ESPN’s Shams Charania that Cunningham deserves All-NBA recognition despite likely falling short of the threshold due to injury.
“Cade has delivered a first-team All-NBA season,” Schwartz said. “If he falls just short of an arbitrary games-played threshold due to legitimate injury, it should not disqualify him.”
Cunningham, who was diagnosed with a collapsed lung, is considered unlikely to reach the required 65 games.
Warriors
The Warriors plan to re-sign center Omer Yurtseven to a second 10-day contract, per Anthony Slater of ESPN.
Yurtseven appeared in five games during his first stint, averaging 3.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in limited minutes. Injuries in the frontcourt — including absences involving Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford — created an opportunity.
Coach Steve Kerr has liked what he’s seen so far.
“I’m a fan of Omer — he’s a very good player, very talented,” Kerr said. “He’s a good passer, he can shoot, and he’s had success in the NBA.”
If finalized, the deal would run through early April, after which Golden State would need to decide on a longer-term arrangement.
