Clippers

The Clippers are giving themselves more time before deciding Cam Christie‘s future.

According to Law Murray of The Athletic, Los Angeles and Christie have agreed to push back the guarantee date on his $2.3 million salary until Oct. 15.

It’s the second time this offseason the two sides have agreed to delay the deadline, giving the Clippers additional flexibility as training camp approaches.

Christie, 20, appeared in 55 games last season, averaging 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in a limited reserve role. The former second-round pick remains under contract through 2027-28, with the Clippers holding a team option on the final year.

Lakers

Arthur Kaluma made the most of his opportunity in Las Vegas. Now he’s headed back to the Lakers.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Los Angeles is signing Kaluma to a two-way contract after an impressive Summer League in which he averaged 18.6 points while helping the Lakers post a 4-1 record.

Kaluma spent last season with the organization’s G League affiliate after going undrafted out of Texas. Before officially adding him, the Lakers will need to free up one of their three two-way roster spots.

Hawks

The Hawks have added another familiar NBA face. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Atlanta is signing forward Jalen Wilson to a two-way contract.

Wilson, 25, spent the past three seasons with the Nets after being selected in the second round of the 2023 draft. He appeared in 54 games last season, averaging 6.4 points while shooting 35.5 percent from three.

A former national champion and consensus first-team All-American at Kansas, Wilson fills Atlanta’s third and final two-way roster spot alongside RayJ Dennis and Keshon Gilbert.
