Sixers
Sixers forward Paul George served the 25th and final game of his suspension on Monday, making him eligible to return on Wednesday vs. Chicago.
Head coach Nick Nurse said George has “conditioned hard” during his absence and indicated there are no concerns about a ramp-up period, per Derek Bodner of PHLY Sports.
George’s return would give Philadelphia a significant boost on the wing as it looks to stabilize its rotation late in the season.
Raptors
The Raptors were without three starters on Monday vs. Utah, as Brandon Ingram (right heel inflammation), Immanuel Quickley (plantar fasciitis), and Jakob Poeltl (injury management) all sat out, notes Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca.
There were still a couple developments worth noting.
Rookie forward Collin Murray-Boyles returned after missing 11 games with a thumb injury, while newly signed guard Markelle Fultz made his team debut.
Fultz’s numbers were modest — two points and three turnovers in 16 minutes, with Toronto outscored by 15 during his stint — but there were, as Grange described, “flashes of high-level play.” The former No. 1 overall pick added five assists and two steals off the bench in a win over the Jazz.
Notably, it marked Fultz’s second game of the day after suiting up earlier for Raptors 905 in the G League.
“He’s (a) point guard. You can see that he’s comfortable getting the team into the offense and organizing, and he had five assists,” head coach Darko Rajakovic said. “It was awesome to see him out there, knowing that he played a game this morning.”
Fultz is currently on a 10-day contract, but he has made a strong early impression within the organization.
“What I’ve been most impressed about was his level of professionalism and humility,” Raptors 905 coach Drew Jones said, via Grange. “You know, a former No. one pick, he could come in here and have a crazy chip on his shoulder, act like he owns the place. But he walked right in and said, ‘Coach, what do you need me to do?’ … And he’s been awesome, just awesome.”
Nets
Nets forward Josh Minott is beginning to carve out a role following his acquisition at February’s trade deadline, writes Brian Lewis of The New York Post.
Minott arrived in what was essentially a salary-clearing move for Boston, but his defensive energy and competitiveness have stood out.
His $2.6 million team option for 2026-27 adds to the appeal, giving the Nets a low-cost flier on a player who may be earning a longer look.
