This is the time of the NBA season for fake big swings. This would certainly be one of them.
A trade idea making the rounds would send Stephen Curry to the Celtics in a deal centered on Jaylen Brown, as proposed by Colin Kennedy of 98.5 The Sports Hub.

Kennedy called it “trending more towards fantasyland,” but pointed out the framework is workable from a contract standpoint.
“To start, the contracts are comparable, and a one-for-one swap is possible,” he wrote. “But more pieces would likely be included.”
From a basketball standpoint, it is easy to see the appeal.
Curry alongside Jayson Tatum instantly changes everything about Boston’s offense. Spacing. Shot-making. Late-game execution. It would be a completely different look for a team coming off a frustrating playoff exit.
Golden State’s side is just as interesting in theory.
Brown would give the Warriors a younger, two-way wing to build around, someone who can score, defend and carry a heavier load as the roster transitions.
Again, this is the season for ideas like this. Big names. Big markets. Big what-ifs. This one checks every box.
But that’s where it ends. We all know that the Warriors aren’t trading Curry. Not now, not ever.
