The Nets have signed guard Kyler Edwards, waiving small forward Jordan Hall and point guard Keifer Sykes in the process, the team announced.Kyler Edwards

Edwards, 24, is 6-foot-4 and likely received an Exhibit 10 deal for training camp, and like the other two, could be headed for the Long Island Nets of the G League. That’s where Edwards spent last season, playing for the Motor City Cruise and averaging 11.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in 41 games. He went undrafted out of Houston in 2022.

Hall, 21, is 6-7 and appeared in nine games with the Spurs last season, drawing praise from coach Gregg Popovich along the way. He was waived in November, and then played 29 games for the Austin Spurs.

Sykes, 29, is 5-11 and appeared in 32 games for the Pacers in 2021-22, starting 11 and averaging 5.6 points. Sykes also spent last season with the Cruise, appearing in 29 games and averaging 15.6 points and 7.8 assists.

All three players will be eligible for a $75,000 bonus should they sign and remain with the Long Island Nets for 60 days. Edwards, for now, still has a chance to make the standard roster.

Brooklyn’s roster now stands at 19, with 13 players on guaranteed deals. The Nets also still have a two-way slot available.
